This week should make it official: The Trump Presidency is a Failure   Leave a comment

…To say Trump crossed a line that should never have been crossed today goes without saying: You not only have a sitting president who is unapologetically defending Neo-Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan and White Supremacy but still has yet to acknowledge the death of a woman was killed by one of them.

I’ll say it again: Donald J. Trump, weather he knows or not–I doubt it would change anything if he actually did–is a means to an end as far as the Republican Party is concerned. Can President Trump actually be impeached by a GOP-controlled Congress? Absolutely. They wouldn’t have supported his campaign almost unanimously if they didn’t think beyond reasonable doubt they could at the drop of a hat.

…Why haven’t they despite many of the things they’ve said since being sworn in? The timing’s not quite there yet but clearly it soon will be. We got a big clue that day might be sooner than later:

As some of you might be aware, Vice President Mike Pence was in Venezuela on official business earlier this week. As folks also know, he defends Trump at every opportunity to the press. Aside from that, he hasn’t said much publicly since being sworn in as VP. This is deliberate. The term is “Plausible deniability”. Just like the press corps following Trump everywhere is part of the plan, so is the VP’s silence even now: The GOP is prepping him to step in when they pull the trigger on Trump’s exit. We already know Pence is a career politician and can hold his own against the press. If you think Trump press conferences and Tweets are cringe-worthy, you should see some of Pence’s recent ones.

Anywho, no doubt the GOP may be forced to move up those exit plans just to save face for the party. If alot of these “open” leaks are to be believed–something that would have never happened with the Obama, both Bushes or Clinton–the White House is in disarray.  At this point, it will be very easy for the GOP to present Pence to the public as “Restoring dignity to the Office of the POTUS” as well as “Uniting the country”. Unfortunately for the rest of us, this means they will wait until critical mass to pull the trigger on Trump’s exit.

What does that mean?

Things will need to get a whole lot worse than it is now. That way they can really sell Pence as a “Savior” to the American people. And most will fall for it including the media.

What will it take?

Well, the Russia thing isn’t going away anytime soon clearly. That’s one option. Another would be a military campaign going so bad, Congress is forced to step in. A third option is their own interests being directly threatened by him. I see the third one being the most likely personally.

Now, let’s get to one of the two ways Trump can be removed from office:

  1. Impeachment: Most likely.
  2. Resignation: Kidding! We know he won’t go down quietly.

Trump will be forcibly removed from office, hopefully after the American people wake up and force Congress to do it.

TL;DR: It would be fair to say now that the Trump presidency is a failure. Today proved beyond reasonable doubt to the world Donald J. Trump does not speak for the American people. Today also proved beyond reasonable doubt the people need to rise up and remind our elected “officials” who works for who. The time to act is now or at the very least before the many Armed Militias who have already pledged their support of Donald Trump make their move.

What Armed Militias? I’ll cover that in my next blog post.
